Our Executive
Victor
da Cunha - Chief Executive
Victor da Cunha joined Somer Housing as Chief Executive in April
2011. Victor has worked in housing for over 15 years and has a
strong record of delivering customer service improvements and in
configuring housing associations to provide excellent services for
their residents.
Victor was most recently Director of Resident Services at East
Thames Housing Group where he has held several other senior
positions, including four years as Director or Customer Services
and seven years as Managing Director of East Homes Ltd.
Victor has also served on the boards of several not-for-profit
organisations including Black Roof Housing Association and Solon
Wandsworth Housing Association and has been Chair of the G15
Housing Directors Group and G15 Homelessness Steering Group.
Louise
Swain – Executive Director Customer Services
Louise has worked within social housing for 21
years, 12 of these at senior management level, and has extensive
experience of contributing to strategic partnerships. She has most
recently held the position of Managing Director of Shape and
Redland Housing Associations within Somer Housing Group, and for a
time acted as Interim Chief Executive. Prior to this Louise
worked as Operations Director at Gloucester Housing Association
where she gained experience of an extensive change and service
improvement programme. Louise has also worked in a variety of roles
for Somer Community Housing Trust, Guinness Trust and Knightstone
Housing. Louise has previously been non-executive director of
Elim Housing Association and a small voluntary organisation called
Off the Record.
Donna
Baddeley – Executive Director Transformation and Business
Improvement
Donna previously worked at North Devon Homes
where she was responsible for leading all customer facing
services. A key aspect of her role was cultural transformation
through redefining the values, behaviours and customer focus of the
organisation. Donna has worked for a number of housing
associations, including Festival Housing Group and Gloucestershire
Housing Association, as well as a period spent as a self-employed
change management and organisation development consultant, where
she led major change projects to transform organisations by
improving services for customers. Donna is currently at
non-executive director at Selwood Housing in Trowbridge and is an
active mentor to junior housing managers through the CIH
scheme.
Dominic
Lynch – Executive Director Finance and Resources
Dominic has 12 years' experience in the
housing sector and has worked at Airways Housing Group, A2 Housing
Group and most recently at A2Dominion Housing Group in the South
East of the country. His most recent role with A2Dominion was
as the Group Director - Finance and Strategy where he was
responsible for financial and strategic management of the Group and
its subsidiaries. His roles to date have given him experience
of growing an organisation from 4,500 to 34,000 units largely
through mergers and acquisitions, culture change as a result of
major initiatives and evaluating new business opportunities and
directions. Dominic is also a non-executive director of a large
sixth form college in Taunton and a member of the Audit Committee
at Bath University.
